Mystic Mountain Alpacas began as a small glimmer of an idea, 5 acres of dense forest, and a desire to build something special to occupy our time later in life. Several years and much soul searching later it has become the home of one large Maremma sheepdog, two small (but adorable) mutts, one rambling cat, two grumpy teenagers, a couple of hermit crabs, a bunch of wonderful alpacas, and two people who have become totally enthralled by the alpaca lifestyle. Since our first alpaca purchase in July of 2009 we have devoted our energies to creating a stock of strong, dependable foundation females and a stable of males who boast well-known blood lines as well as striking color, beautiful fleece, and perfect conformation.
